Laser Hair removal guidelines
- Patients should be freshly shaved for treatment
- No UV exposure for 48 hours post treatment
- Following treatment a good broad spectrum sunscreen should be applied to treated area.
- If skin is irritated following treatment a 1% hydrocortisone can be applied following treatment
- It is not recommended to treat patients that are tanned. If a patient presents with a tan it is recommended to wait two weeks before proceeding with treatment
- Ice post treatment will help minimize redness and irritation (usually 10-15 minutes is adequate) Patients will experience a sensation like that of a sunburn for 1-3 hours post treatment
Body hair is treated at 6 week intervals and facial hair is treated at 4 week intervals The cost of Laser Hair Removal is as follows: $50* for bikini, underarms, face or neck $100* for brazilian, back, chest, arms, upper or lower legs $200* full legs *price is per treatment
